Cannabis uses all wavelengths between 350nm - 780nm for photosynthesis and photomorphogenesis with less attention towards greens, yellows, and yellowy-oranges. If a lamp emits too much of these wavelengths or too much infrared light, the extra energy is converted to heat. More work for your cooling system.
